My clients choose to see me for a variety of reasons:
• Chronic upper and lower back pain
• Aching, sore neck muscles
• Limited mobility in the hips
• Recurring headaches or trouble concentrating
• Postural issues
• Post workout tension
• Anxiety, mental or physical exhaustion
There are many more.
Think about most days.
You work too much, you don’t sleep enough, or maybe your body is changing because you are pregnant or just gave birth. You worry about being late, or your job, or your family. You are on your feet all day, or you sit in front of a computer for long periods of time.
Our culture promotes the importance of pushing through pain, letting your stress fuel you, and bragging about your over-committed schedule instead of taking the time to actually listen to what your body is telling you.
I encourage my clients to choose a different path: To maintain a healthy communication with their bodies through massage. To listen, to acknowledge, to create space for positive change. I strive to demonstrate this through our work together on the massage table.
At its heart, my practice is a blend of therapeutic massage and energy work that supports your body’s innate knowledge of what it needs to be healthy. I have a deep understanding of anatomy that I draw upon in each session. I strive to listen to your body as it communicates what it needs to find balance and ease. Each massage is customized to meet your specific needs, and incorporates a myriad of techniques from my repertoire, using any one or a combination of the following modalities:

Katie is truly the most fantastic massage therapist I have ever experienced. This is saying a lot because I am extremely particular about my massage; prior to Katie, I most often left appointments feeling disappointed and frustrated. I have chronic neck and upper back pain; I need a lot of pressure to work out tension. Not only is Katie amazing at applying the perfect amount of pressure, she is very knowledgeable about the human body. Katie clearly loves her work and truly listens to her client's needs and addresses them with specialized attention. Katie is able to pinpoint key, sometimes difficult to reach, problem areas that most therapists neglect. The morning after a massage from Katie, I feel dramatic results; so much tension released in my shoulders and neck as if bricks have been lifted. I'm so lucky to have found her!— Alice Anne, production manager
I see Katie regularly and the benefits have been endless. I originally saw her while recovering from a recent orthopedic surgery, and as I got back into my normal workouts I kept massage as part of my wellness routine. Rarely have I come across someone in my life that is this passionate about what she does. She isn’t just going through the motions and relative to other massages I’ve gotten, this point is very obvious. She knows the science behind every muscle, how they all interact together, and why I’m feeling how I’m feeling. She even goes the extra mile to follow up to make sure I’m feeling ok after a rough week of workouts. I’m lucky to have met her and to have continued to see her. I can say without a doubt I feel better every day because I see her regularly and I’d highly recommend her to anyone.— Prasad, entrepreneur
Working with Katie has transformed my relationship with my body. Not only has Katie healed much of my body pain and tightness, but her work has also helped me to understand how my body works, what it likes, and what it doesn't like. This is because she is not only committed to giving an excellent massage, but she provides additional guidance on how to handle your body when you leave her office. As a direct result of my time with Katie, I am now able to exercise without the constant risk of injury. Receiving therapy from Katie is as essential to my health as eating well and exercising. I cannot thank her enough!— Jessie, law partner
I have been seeing Katie regularly for about a year. We started with massage, which was wonderfully relaxing and helped with any tension or pain I was feeling. Then she asked if I would be interested in SourcePoint Therapy, which is a realigning of your energetic framework. I had no idea how powerful and deep this would feel, but trusted her completely. We began to incorporate this to not only diagnose but address some deeper issues that were creating recurring problems. I felt completely nurtured and supported through Katie’s presence and her work. I recommend Katie highly for massage and SourcePoint Therapy! She is a gem and a genuine pleasure to work with!— Su, acupuncturist
I feel blessed to have met such a dedicated healer with a sincere desire to help her clients along their paths. Katie’s SourcePoint work is truly transformative, and it gets more and more powerful with time because of her commitment to her practice, and to her own personal growth. The compassion Katie puts into her work is unparalleled. Her gentle, nurturing nature provides a truly judgement-free zone and a safe space for healing to occur.
I have been receiving SourcePoint sessions from Katie regularly for just over a year now, and I can honestly say that I am a much more authentic, confident, and optimistic version of myself today as a result of her work. I have a newfound awareness of my personal power, my outlook on life has changed, my sense of self-love has fortified, and so many new possibilities have opened up in my life over the past year.I highly recommend Katie's SourcePoint sessions for anyone who desires to accelerate their personal growth and gain a greater sense of completeness in all areas of life. — Veronica, physical therapist
I started seeing Katie for a sore shoulder with limited and painful movement which she healed. I continue to see her regularly as new areas of tension and discomfort arise. I have had many massages but none like Katie's. She is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy, has a strong, firm touch, but never hurts and I always leave feeling renewed, re-energized and ready to meet the challenges of life in New York City. Katie is a pleasure to be with, professional, positive, smart and warm, which is not to be overlooked or dismissed. The experience is holistic. I always feel as if my spirit and soul have been healed as well as my physical body. I am so grateful I found her!— Jed, Executive Vice President
Katie is amazing and intuitive. One of the best prenatal massages I've ever had!— Sasha, RN, CLC, CD(DONA)
Katie is an exceptional massage therapist. She is professional, knowledgeable, and more than happy to customize her massage to meet each client's individual needs. Once she puts her hands on you, it is obvious that she loves what she does. Her integrity and passion for her work come through her touch, which is so powerful and so grounding, you feel nurtured and completely attended to throughout the session. Katie is definitely at the top of a short list of extraordinary healers I have been lucky enough to work with.— Pamela, licensed massage therapist
